STI Student Guide to the ONE STI Learning Model

After accomplishing your online registration at https://apply.sti.edu/ and paying the PhP1,000.00* reservation fee, please send your proof of payment to your STI campus.

Please expect an email, message, or a call from our school personnel on how you can proceed to enrollment. You may settle the minimum down payment through our alternative payment partners here: https://payments.sti.edu/

You may submit your available admission requirement documents online via clear photos or PDF format to your STI campus and submit the hard copies on-campus before the term ends.

*The reservation fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total assessment fees.

After enrollment, you will receive your Registration and Assessment Form (RAF) either sent to your registered email address or at the school (if enrollment was done onsite).

The RAF contains important information such as your Student Number, Enrolled Subjects, Class Schedules, STI Microsoft O365 email account and login credentials, and more.

To welcome and properly introduce the changes and developments for School Year 2020-2021, there will be orientations for both Students and Parents.

Students and parents/guardians may now log in to the eLearning Management System (eLMS) on https://elms.sti.edu/ to go through the multimedia orientation materials to guide them on the ONE STI Learning Model, STI history, student policies, and helpful tips on how to navigate online learning together.

Our schools will also schedule a virtual live orientation where you can ask your questions and get answers in real-time. Find your school’s orientation schedules here: https://www.sti.edu/orientation

Every week, your teachers will meet with you and your classmates for a synchronous online class either through video conference or a live chat to discuss your learnings. The online classes will fall under the prescribed days and time indicated on the RAF.

For example, a subject with MW 10:30AM – 12:00PM schedule can only schedule their classes either on Monday or Wednesday. The teacher may schedule these sessions in batches with an allotted 30-minutes per session, so a student may get an 11:30 AM schedule for the same class.

These schedules will vary on a weekly basis so please check your eLMS calendar regularly.

If there are no online class schedules on your eLMS calendar, please get in touch with your respective STI campus’ Facebook Page or STI Student Support Messenger account immediately. Search for your school's account on https://support.sti.edu/

Upon enrollment, you will receive an official email with your Registration and Assessment Form (RAF) attached in PDF file format to your registered email address.

In it, you will receive your new STI Microsoft Office 365 email address and your default password.

Passwords are case sensitive, so make sure you enter it with the first letter of your last name in UPPERCASE. Please make sure to change passwords once you login to protect your account.

To broaden our reach and help serve our students better, we have partnered with the country’s biggest telecommunications to bring special education plans for STI students under our Internet Connectivity Assistance program.

Students may choose between the FREE SMART SIM or the Globe SIM. As an alternative choice, a Globe SIM with 20GB monthly data plan is also available for a low fee of PhP300 per semester.

STI loads the provided SIM cards every month* to ensure that students will be able to stay connected and continue their studies anytime, anywhere.

*To receive the monthly SIM load, the students’ tuition payment account must be updated.

Only STI students are allowed to use the SIM for its intended educational purpose.

The school reserves the right to revoke the Internet Connectivity Assistance if a student is found to have irresponsibly used the given SIM and mobile data.

SIM cards may be available for pick-up from September 1-5, 2020. Please coordinate with your school through the STI Student Support Messenger. Find your school's account here: https://support.sti.edu/

Your STI student life will primarily revolve around these three online learning tools and student apps. Best to keep these apps and sites on-hand for your daily collaborative and learning needs.
