STI RCY ensures safety at Kaanyag Festival 2025

The STI Red Cross Youth (RCY) played a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of participants and attendees during the Kananga Kaanyag Festival 2025, held at Kananga Central School.

Their dedicated team established a fully operational first aid station during key events:

• Festival Queen Showdown (June 13): Providing immediate medical assistance.
• Grand Rehearsals (June 14): Ensuring the safety of performers and crew.
• Grand Ritual Showdown (June 14): Maintaining readiness for any medical emergencies.

Beyond their first aid duties, the STI RCY also contributed to the festival’s overall safety by serving as foot patrols during the Street Dancing competition. Their proactive presence helped maintain order and provided an additional layer of security for all involved.
